Click to visit TriciaKelly.comI first saw Tricia on stage on Earth Day. One of the things that amazed me first, apart from her strong presence, was her ability to use her voice. It was an open street stage, you see, no acoustic wall or any other supporting acoustics, yet her voice was so powerful that at times she had to take the microphone all the way down.

"I'm not an expert on saving the planet, but it's amazing to me at how many people take this beautiful planet and the life on it for granted; the abuse may seem small to some and completely insignificant, but to me - it isn't.

"I have a brother who lives near the mountains in Rindge, New Hampshire. We go walking there among the pines. He brings a stick and a bag. I wonder "Why?" There is no one around...no one. This is a place for nature walking and a place to think peacefully....but, it is also a place for hunters & trail riders. It is not the hunting or riding that bothers me...it is the blatant disregard for the Earth. There are beer cans, and trash thrown around carelessly here and there.

"This is nothing, of course, to what I've witnessed on Hollywood Boulevard. A young girl about 18 or 19, finishing up her fast food breakfast while walking down the street carelessly tossing the empty package to the sidewalk...there is a public trash can less than 25 feet from her - in the direction she is traveling. ....An older man from another country unwraps his 7-Eleven purchase and tosses the wrapper to the ground. Both of these people were made aware of my discontent... It bothers me. It's not OK. It's careless. And though it may seem small....imagine if we all cared as little?

Impressive as it was, strong voice was far from being the whole thing, the real essence of Tricia Kelly. It took a few songs to realize what it was that mesmerized me to her performance, and it wasn't just Tricia's very professional singing. It was her ability to communicate. Not "to voice" words and sounds. Really COMMUNICATE, man.

She handled as many audience as they came, either to listen to her singing or coming up on stage to sing their own Karaoke, all the while being her own DJ and soundwoman simultaneously. She just kept communicating with everybody, from one heart to another, just as instantly and as easily as you'd take a walk in the park.

I realize a great artist when I see one. My first words to her were "Tricia, you DESERVE to make it all the way to the top!". I believe she does. So I promised to help carry her name go forward as far as I could.

I've read many opinions of others about her music, about how much fun she is on stage and album. But then I noticed something else in between the lines. Reading what Tricia herself communicated (words and pictures), it became clear that my hunches were right - she is a unique, great personality and more than that. Tricia Kelly is not about herself, rather she's all about the other guy, about YOU. Can you see that? Trying to download some nice photos of Tricia to make a wallpaper, but there were very few to be found. Almost all her photos are about the beauty of life: happy kids, lovely animals, beautiful flowers, unique scenes of the land. When it came to people and friends, Tricia herself is rarely in the picture. She captures the happiness of her friends and relatives, as well as other artists or Karaoke fans who perform at her parties/shows.

I ordered Tricia's CD Keep On Movin' and at first it was hard to figure out what it it was that made it feel so special. Tricia sings very professionally, capturing the mood of every song and the unique message of every line in it. Click for ordering options But other great singers can do that. So what was it that melted my heart once and time again? After a few days of daily listening, and enjoying this CD, I cognited on the exact thing: instead of singing from the sky downwards, she sings eye-to-eye with you. You getin' my point? Tricia sings at a straight line - from her heart to yours. Tell me how many of those you see around us.

"Hey, I figured her out", I thought to myself, she's a real, down-to-earth angel who lives contributing her abundant powers to the lives of others. Does this sound kinda bombastic to you? Maybe it is, my friend, maybe it is, but I truly believe so, and I really need YOUR help here.
