WHY Join?

  • First in line is the planet itself. If we don't preserve the environment, there'll be no more breathable air. If we don't preserve life on this planet, we'll die with an empty stomach. Grim but true. Your first benefit, then, is to HAVE A FUTURE, for you, for your kids.

  • Second is pride. How would it feel telling your friends that you've done something great for the world?! And don't let anybody tell you that you did too little. We all do what we can, and there's no "too much validation" of a good deed. Do what you can. Be proud of it. Be very proud.

  • A better planet means more FUN in life. Food will be tastier. Air will be fresh and sweet smelling. Like it used to be. Tap water will be drinkable again. Swimming in the sea will not be a health hazard. Fish will not be 50% fish and 50% poison. It'll be 100% fish. Wilderness & outdoor activities will be better. Life will be cheaper and easier. Fun, I said.

  • A safer planet does not only mean clean beaches and no toxins in the air. It also means safer streets and homes. It means kids growing calmer and healthier, better educated on controlling their own environment and steering their own future.

  • A safer planet also means less "natural" disasters. Much of the havoc what we had lately with the weather is our own make. When we reverse it (notice I didn't say "IF" we reverse it, no negatives, you see) then calmer weather will be a clear and obvious benefit.

  • You may be young. Perhaps you're not. In any case, you never know when you may need some kind of rare herbal remedy, extracted from a rare plant in a distant forest. Or a rare product of an almost-extinct animal. Save them today and who knows, they may save your life tomorrow! Or the life of your child. Think about it. Today. Do something about it. Today.
