I'm amazed, surprised for the better. Never seen an organization for the elderly such as this one.

In principle, New Era Seniors International (NESI) is an independent, non-profit, tax-exempt, public benefit organization "dedicated to influencing society in bringing about a new reality for older adults."

So far sounds kinda ordinary. But here comes the juicy part. NESI is secular in nature, but embraces and welcomes members of all religions, as they accept (like me) that the source of life is the intelligent spiritual being.

This must be the difference, if you ask me. Visit their website for full info. I just want you to know, even if you are not a senior yourself, I want YOU my friend to know that there's an organization out there that takes care of the seniors like nobody else does. Here, let me explain:

As one of their purposes states they are working "To protect older adults in their vulnerable years, from the harmful psychiatric treatments and drugs that damage and dull the spirit (and which are given routinely in regular rest homes and hospitals)." Think this is an exaggeration? Need proof? Check out these references:

Remember this BEFORE you let your elderly family member or friend get into these government-financed facilities, where they will rot faster than the eye can blink. Check out NESI for sane alternatives.

Need a reason? I'll give you one: we're talking here about the future of the Earth, and when talking future we think "youth" and "kids". But in PRESENT TIME we need every helping hand. Every ABLE person contributes to society, and seniors have A LOT TO GIVE, my friend.

They always will.

Because you see, nothing can replace the vitality of the 16-year-old. But ALSO nothing can replace the life experience (basically, a broader view of life) of the the 70-year-old. We need these guys, and we need them able, healthy and PRODUCING. Letting them rot in a keep-me-alive meat house is a cruel abuse. An abuse that these guys do NOT deserve after all they've done in their earlier years.

Where do you want to go when you retire? A meat house? Don't tell me. We both know the answer. NESI is a most positive group for seniors' future. Please support them by being a member or donating online.

Care and Exchange Game - Let's Play!

Another purpose of NESI is "To make the later years productive, rewarding and fun and to take the misery, fear and mystery out of moving on to the next existence." Here is where the exchange game plays part. Production increases morale and people are happier when they can do something that is of value to others. In this spirit, these guys have created an amazing game of care-exchange between one senior to another.

NESI members earn "credit" in the form of "Care Credits" for helping other members. Upon joining NESI, each new member is given 50 Care Credits. Every Care Credit is worth 15 minutes of care time. That’s worth 12½ hours of care from other members. You earn/spend Care Credits as you give care to others, or trade your earned points (Care Credits) for services that you may need yourself.
