There's a big place in my heart to the many groups helping society at large, and kids in particular, by distributing and/or teaching the booklet The Way To Happiness®. This club's website describes it as "a common-sense guide for living a happy life. It’s an effective tool for reversing the decline in basic moral values. It can be used by anyone to greatly improve conditions in life."

True. I know from experience. Experience in a very troubled part of the world. You see, I've been the translator and re-creator of The Way To Happiness® booklet in Hebrew, to help save the Mid East from explosion. Having it as "my baby" for that part of the Earth, nowadays I still seek to help any group that takes responsibility for other zones of Earth. Such is The Way to Happiness Outdoor Club, which, in addition to distributing The Way To Happiness® booklets, also gets kids (and parents) interested and actively involved in outdoor activities.

The major love affair this group has is their love and enthusiasm toward the sea, sailing and deep-sea fishing. They are great at arranging fun fishing derbies where families can take part. They arrange other outdoor activities such as picnics, rafting and camping. Not only is this activity enjoyable and opens your horizons, but it also takes your entire family and yourself AWAY from TV, video games and "horizons" that are as large as the distance between your walls.

They sail out of many ports such as Marina Del Rey, Port Hueneme, Lake Isabella Marina in Kern County, Ventura, San Diego and others. They organize one-day fishing trips as well as Fish-a-thons (such was the 3-day fishing trip in the fish-abundant waters near San Martin Island off the coast of Baja, Mexico). Their sea excursions are always connected to environmental safeguarding and education, both of MORAL CONCEPTS and marine/fishing skills.

This club has organized an impressive number of outdoor projects since their establishment in 2003. Activities are NOT limited to fishing derbies, but range widely to:

Picnics that include fishing, sailing, music, etc., and Scout Camping; Target Shooting, handgun-training (by combat veterans and other highly trained professionals) and Paintball Events; Whitewater Rafting trips; sporting days and fun raffles.

Educational projects include, among many others, the Set-a-Good Example Contest and coastal cleaning days.

Large-scale Social Reform project: Club leaders have launched a project to fund 1 million (yes, ONE MILLION) The Way to Happiness® booklets to be distributed in high-crime areas of Los Angeles and elsewhere. These booklets have been proven very effective in crime-reduction and trouble-cooling for troubled areas in the USA and around the world.
